Yeah, I'm serious. You can't make stuff like this up. Apparently, Wizards has struck some kind of deal with some shoe company to produce a run of official D&D shoes, but the real kicker is that the shoes will be designed by a real live D&D fan, as they're leaving the fate of the design up to a contest!
The only thing I can imagine a pair of D&D shoes being good for is running away from an entire high school parking lot full of people wanting to beat you senseless for being so geeky as to wear a pair of Dungeons & Dragons shoes.
Now, in all honesty, I would wear a pair of these, mostly because I have geek pride, but also because I'm a grown adult and am secure enough in my interests to put on a pair of D&D shoes and, as my wife often says, "own it."
Also, I'm one mean son of a bitch and will head-butt a smack-talker's nose into the back of his giggling skull if he so much as smirks at my D&D shoes. And then there would probably be some stomping. 'Cuz I don't play, haters!
Anyway, if you want to design a pair of "Air Drows", just go right HERE and upload the template and get to designing!
